Ethics and quality

Quality policy

We build quality into the management of our centres and services, with a constant commitment to the most disadvantaged groups.

Our mission

The mission of the Health and Community Foundation (hereinafter FSC) is to contribute to the promotion of health, social welfare and quality of life in the community through care, prevention, reintegration, research and training projects, integrating quality into the management of our centres and services with a constant commitment to the most disadvantaged groups. To do so, it must guarantee the sustainability of a professional, responsible and ethical organisation committed to society.

Innovative solutions

Within the field of health and social welfare, FSC works where different problems overlap, especially health issues that also have a social and community dimension. Our services offer flexible and innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.

A qualified team

Our team is made up of qualified professionals, experts and volunteers who are motivated and committed to the social and health field, treating people with respect, dignity and honesty to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of our services. Staff receive the support, supervision and continuous training they need to develop their skills at all times.

Stakeholders

We believe that our professionals are a fundamental pillar of the organisation, so we want them to identify with the Foundation's values and be proud to belong to it. The FSC team is committed to meeting the needs of all our stakeholders, whether the users of our services, their families or our funders, by identifying their needs, providing solutions and ensuring compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Environmental management

FSC is also committed to environmental management, which ensures the planning and monitoring of our environmental impact; the reduction, recovery and recycling of the waste generated and the proper disposal of non-recoverable waste; the purchase of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly products and services; raising awareness among all staff of the importance of proper energy management and its impact; and a commitment to preventing pollution.

Integrated management system

FSC is committed to protecting the environment by promoting the sustainable use of resources and continuous improvement in environmental management, which is why we have an integrated quality management system based on the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Environmental sustainability

Resource management, carbon footprint and energy efficiency

The Health and Community Foundation's 2024 Sustainability Report sets out the main environmental actions carried out during the year, focused on the responsible management of resources and reducing environmental impact.
