Therapeutic flatfor people with drug addiction (Barcelona)

A residential support resource with an educational and therapeutic approach, aimed at people with some type of substance-related and/or behavioural addiction.

We offer a programme that is:

• Flexible:tailored to the needs and particular circumstances of each person. We also offer different ways of engaging with the service.
• Community-based:promoting participatory methodologies and encouraging contribution to and involvement in the community.

The service has the collaboration of the Directorate-General for Social Protection of the Department of Labour, Social Affairs and Families of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Objectives:

The programme’s fundamental objective is to offer comprehensive support to the people it serves in order to improve their quality of life and establish new life projects. Achieving this objective involves:

• Maintaining and consolidating abstinence among the people served.
• Promoting personal development, fostering the empowerment of the people served through the acquisition of personal competences
• Personal autonomy, by working on aspects relating to household organisation, money management, eating habits…
• Labour inclusion and/or improved employability.
• Social and cultural promotion.

Other services

• Family care and guidance. We offer individual guidance sessions for the relatives of the people we serve.
• Substance use monitoring. Urine tests are carried out to ensure people’s abstinence
• Dual pathology care subprogramme.
• Social and labour inclusion.
