Supported flat service for womenexperiencing gender violence and their children

This is a supported flat that offers a substitute home for women and their children who have experienced situations of gender violence.

It is a resource that provides the opportunity to continue the work plan started at the Reception Service for abused women in the Segrià region, with particular emphasis on social and labour inclusion. The resource belongs to the Departament d’Igualtat i Feminismes de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

The flat can accommodate four families, and its main objective is to create an optimal relational climate that makes it possible to successfully develop the social skills needed to achieve full personal autonomy.

Following the recovery process already under way, the aim is therefore to restore important ties in the mother-child relationship, as well as social and family bonds that have been severely damaged as a result of serious situations of abuse (both physical and psychological).
