Residential Care Home for Minors“Las Nubes” (Guadalajara)

The Residential Care Home for Minors “Las Nubes” is a residential care resource whose purpose is to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents whose material, emotional and educational needs are not met, at least temporarily, within their own families. Located in Guadalajara, the children and adolescents who use the service are under the guardianship or custody of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha in compliance with the provisions of Ley 5/2014, de 9 de octubre, de Protección Social y Jurídica de la Infancia y Adolescencia de Castilla La Mancha (BOE of 18-2-2015).

The project, which has 6 professionals, is characterised by an intervention aimed at the social and family integration of the minors based on individualised planning for each case, using a methodology based on the pedagogy of everyday life and complemented by a diverse range of action programmes geared towards normalisation, overall development and positive social integration in the community.

In this way, and from an individualised perspective for each case, put into practice through the planning and implementation of the PEI (Individualised Educational Project), the aim is to foster the fullest development and personal growth of the children and adolescents in the main dimensions, such as intellectual, emotional, social and health, including an approach to diversity from an inclusive perspective.

The Residential Care Home for Minors “Las Nubes” has a maximum capacity of 8 places.
