Housing with Services“Concilio de Trento I”

The CONCILIO DE TRENTO I Housing with Services is an initiative of Barcelona City Council and has 39 apartments, currently providing accommodation for a total of 43 people. FSC has managed this service since 1 January 2009.

The general objective of this facility is to provide its beneficiaries with adapted housing that, on the one hand, enables them to be as independent as possible and, on the other, encourages their participation in community life and their social integration.

Over the last year, 76% of the people served at the centre were women and 24% men, with an average age of 85; they maintain an acceptable degree of autonomy in organising their daily lives and optimal cognitive abilities for their own personal care.

The main achievement of our intervention over the last year has been the full implementation of our programme of integration with the local community. The centre also publishes a quarterly magazine and organises countless cultural and leisure activities that foster coexistence within the housing block itself.
