Lázaro Specialised Day Centre in Azuqueca de Henares

The Specialised Day Centre aims to offer a safe, stable and respectful environment to children and adolescents in the child protection system who have had traumatic experiences. Our objective is to provide a space for professional support where they can strengthen their emotional well-being, develop personal resources and make progress in understanding and managing their experiences within a framework of care, respect and constant support.

The service operates in the afternoons, Monday to Friday, and has highly qualified professionals in the field of educational and psychological intervention with extensive experience of working with minors in the child protection system.

Support may be individual or in groups, depending on the needs of each child, and is designed through personalised planning. Activities therefore include adapted dynamics, projective and narrative work, mindfulness, body awareness exercises, yoga and other interventions validated by scientific evidence and by the professional community specialising in trauma and child development.
