It is a residential centre belonging to the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, which provides continuous comprehensive care to older people whose social and family circumstances make it difficult or impossible for them to remain in their usual home. It has 33 residential places for dependent people, accommodated in 16 double rooms and one single room. Since 2007 it has been managed by a Temporary Joint Venture (UTE) formed by Serveo and Fundación Salud y Comunidad (FSC).

The general objective of this facility is to provide the following services:

• Accommodation and meals
• Nursing and medical care
• Occupational and rehabilitation activities
• Cultural and recreational activities
• Podiatry service
• Hairdressing service, etc.

Over the last year the centre has served 40 people, 65% of them women and 35% men, with an average age of 80.

The Centre holds the quality certificate issued by Aenor under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard and the ISO 158001:2015 Residential Management Standard.

Intergenerational activities based on popular literature with the children of a nearby school have been our Centre’s main achievement this year.
