Sharing experiences
As far as in 1992, the European Commission selected us (under our former name as ABS, in consortium with Intersalus), to coordinate the EU Phare Programme on Drug Demand Reduction, coordinating a team in 11 Central and Eastern European countries and with experts from 8 EU member states.
Subsequently, ABS (later FSC) took over the leadership of two "LIEN" programmes in cooperation with Romanian and Bulgarian NGOs on Children and adolescents HIV+, prostitution and sex trafficking. Also the leadership of a Socrates programme (European Catalogue of Health Education Materials for Adults), for 3 years and with the participation of 9 EU member states.
Subsequently, FSC has participated and/or led several EU programmes:
ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME
RIGHTS AND CITIZENSHIP PROGRAMME
JUSTICE PROGRAMME
FSC has also participated in a wide range of international cooperation projects on the prevention of gender-based violence and the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights in Kabylie (Algeria) (2002-2012) and Dakar (Senegal) (2020-2021).
