Family Meeting Point Technical Serviceof El Prat de Llobregat

The El Prat de Llobregat Family Meeting Point is a service of the Generalitat de Catalunyaaimed at caring for, accompanying and protecting minors from the problems that arise in processes of marital conflict, by means of a neutral meeting space that makes it possible to comply with the visiting arrangements set by the public and judicial authorities.

The fundamental aim of this resource is to prevent or mitigate family conflict during visits, through an environment that protects and defends the rights of minors.

Over the last year, the centre has supported more than 280 people from 74 families, of whom more than 90 were minors and more than 190 adults.

The service has a multidisciplinary team that guarantees the rights of minors, their accompaniment and the monitoring of the parents or relatives involved, offering professional guidance to improve parent-child relationships and the skills that support the growth of the minor as a person, as well as that of the adults involved in the conflict.
