“Te Acompañamos”: service for women with drug addictionwho have experienced gender violence (Barcelona Province)[Finalizado en diciembre de 2024]

“Te Acompañamos” is a service for women who use substances, are victims of gender violence and are at risk of exclusion. The service is provided through the Psychosocial Care Service (SAP) of Fundación Salud y Comunidad (FSC).

The service’s professional team consists of three SAP psychologists who, following an initial information and intake interview, carry out a psychosocial assessment and provide psychotherapeutic support to the women.

In addition, where the professional in charge considers it appropriate, the possibility of group therapy with other women supported by the service is offered.
Through the “Te Acompañamos” service we foster post-treatment empowerment, offering support for the transition towards autonomy. The service aims to consolidate strategies for self-management and for the prevention of abuse and addictions in social, family, work and leisure settings, avoiding relapses, a return to the aggressor and the risk of remaining in social exclusion.
