It is a street-level service that provides first-hand knowledge of women&#8217;s situation, which makes it an effective tool for tackling inequalities. The SIAD therefore acts as:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A meeting point for women, with spaces for training, awareness-raising and free access to new technologies, and a documentation centre.<\/li>\n<li>A reference centre for equality policies aimed at the women and men of the municipality, and at organisations and groups working for equity in the city.<\/li>\n<li>A specialised support service for women experiencing gender violence.<\/li>\n<li>A point of information, advice and comprehensive care for women.<\/li>\n<li>A free and confidential service, offering legal and psychological support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To improve the quality of life of women citizens, make their experiences and knowledge visible and contribute to eradicating situations of discrimination and gender violence, fostering women&#8217;s processes of awareness and autonomy.
