The service is also responsible for compiling statistical data. It is owned by the\u00a0<strong>Institut Catal\u00e0 de les Dones (ICD) of the Generalitat de Catalunya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The impact of gender violence on women who are experiencing or have experienced it requires specialised psychological intervention that provides counselling and guidance on all aspects of the personal and social structure of the women supported.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This psychological care must aim to strengthen women\u2019s abilities to cope with what they have experienced, seeking to repair the harm caused by gender violence and facilitating access to other resources in the women\u2019s care network. Incorporating the gender perspective into psychological counselling for women is also essential for the Institut Catal\u00e0 de les Dones.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=&#8221;h5&#8243; text_size=&#8221;h5&#8243;]Objectives[\/vc_custom_heading][uncode_list icon=&#8221;fa fa-check&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To offer professional psychological care to women referred by the ICD.<\/li>\n<li>To provide in-person care in cases of gender violence detected by the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/li>\n<li>To offer up-to-date information on the different public and private resources in the women\u2019s care network in the area, facilitating referral of the relevant cases.<\/li>\n<li>To carry out individual follow-up of the cases opened by the service and to prepare reports assessing and identifying situations of violence when so indicated.<\/li>\n<li>To train ICD staff (or related staff) on gender violence.<\/li>\n<li>To compile the service\u2019s statistical data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/uncode_list][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=&#8221;h5&#8243; text_size=&#8221;h5&#8243;]Target population[\/vc_custom_heading][uncode_list icon=&#8221;fa fa-check&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The service is aimed at women who are experiencing or have experienced situations of gender violence, who come on the recommendation of the ICD or are referred to the service by the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office.
