It includes the management of shared housing and dealing with housing emergencies in the District of Vic\u00e1lvaro (Madrid). The service is funded by the Empresa Municipal de la Vivienda y Suelo de Madrid, and its objective is to provide <strong>specific housing guidance<\/strong> (applications for public housing, rental assistance, searching for housing on the open market, searching for a place in housing resources, social utility bonus\u2026) as well as <strong>social support and legal advice in the face of imminent loss of housing<\/strong> (eviction orders, enforced evictions, termination of rental contracts, illegal occupations, non-payment of monthly rent and\/or mortgage arrears\u2026).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When these actions are not enough, <strong>the service has six rented homes<\/strong> in the same district of Vic\u00e1lvaro, offering two distinct intervention programmes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Residential Emergency Programme<\/strong>: Three homes for families, for individual use. Family units that, due to a sudden change in their financial situation, can prove that they are unable to pay their rent or mortgage and are facing imminent loss of their home.
